A drizzling outfitpost

Just a quick outfitpost, nothing special. To me, the weather seems totally confused. It's half of June but when you look outside you'd swear it's autumn. Accidentally, when I'm writing this, the sun appears a bit. But it rained the whole day. And what's better than wearing comfortable clothing when it's raining cats and dogs? I'm wearing my lace-up boots (still can't believe how much comfort they have, it's unbelievable) with my leather jacket. I created a "sheer shirt effect" with the upper layer of a top I own for a while now. To add a pop of color to the outfit, I chose my bright pink skirt. I think the asymmetrical umbrella makes the look a bit more edgy.

I'm pretty excited about the outfitpost I'll post tomorrow. I totally love my new shoes!

The spirit of a warrior

WEEKEND! Yeah. THE SUN IS SHINING! Dubbel yeah. The weather is very unpredictable at the moment, so I went safe and chose clothing that's not totally for winter nor totally for summer. It's a sort of 'between the seasons' ensemble, so to speak. The black layering protects me against the cold that's in particular in the morning and the pop of pink and the tights give a summer feeling. The loose cardigan and the leather jacket are all-time favorites, so those connect the different pieces to each other. The pink lipstick is also one of my favorite lipsticks, and combined with the huge sunglasses it gives a sort of vamp look don't you think? And when you don't experience this in the same way as I do, keep in mind that's my point of view, or at least something I wanted to create, haha. Have a nice weekend everybody!

A pink overdose

I think I have this in common with many of you, but since I saw the summercollections with the most gorgeous bright colors - for example the fluorescent orange Jil Sander pants - I'm totally in love with those kinds of colors. Which is remarkable, since I wear black, white or more natural colors most of the time. But I know for sure this summer will be characterized by clothing in bright colors as pink, orange, yellow, red, blue and go on.

I stayed at home today, so I don't have an exciting outfitpost for you. However, I want to show you a scarf I own. I got this from my mother's colleague. She hand-knit different types of scarves. This one is made of pink, purple and red wool. I would never have found these colors together, but when I saw the scarf with this combination of colors, I was hooked. It brightens your outfit - even though that wasn't neccesary with my barbie outfit (pink nails, pink top) - and, equally important, it's so warm and comfortable. Perfect for a chivery like me.

The woman who made this scarf told my mother she would love to make a scarf on request of my readers, so if you are interested, you can contact me for more information. It's possible to chose your own colors, so be creative! Also it's cheaper than in most stores.
