Outfitters Nation

You've probably seen some of my Outfitters Nation clothes in outfitposts like this one and this one. I own a lot clothing from them right now, and I thought it would be great to create my own Outfitters Nation spring/summer lookbook. Unfortunately I hadn't the time to finish this whole project yesterday, so I just took some pictures with some of the clothing. However, I think I'll do the lookbook after my vacation. If you can't wait to see more, "like" their facebook page. They got great actions, jeans reviews, giveaways, and information about the collections on it.

Layering for spring

Whenever I've a little time, I love watching movies. I wore this outfit when I went to the cinema with my mother yesterday. We watched Something Borrowed and I totally loved it. I would definitely recommend that movie. The fourth part of Pirates of the Caribbean is also great when you watch it 3D. I went to that one last Sunday. After a much too busy period with a lot of uni projects/exams, I decided I deserved some entertaining evenings in the cinema.

The outfit is based on layering. I'm a huge fan of layering to stay warm ánd fashionable in winter, but I think layering for spring is great too! In my opinion, it's a challenge to find the balance between dressing appropriate to the (sunny) weather and creating a fabulous look with many layers. I hope you like the result just like I do. The layers consist of a cardigan, a vest, a scarf and my new Outfitters Nation dress. I chose tights in the same color as the dress, because I didn't want to be a "living canvas with a million colors on it". I never wore the hat before, but I'm sure I'll do a lot in the future. I'm definitely digging it.

From Miami to Ibiza

The title of this post is inspired by the song of the Swedish House Mafia; From Miami to Ibiza. I think of the song everytime I see this Outfitters Nation top, even though there's obviously Hawaii on it instead of Ibiza. The functioning of the human brain is interesting, don't you think? But enough difficult matter for this post, let's tell you about the outfit. I'm almost totally wrapped in Outfitters Nation stuff. The jeans shorts, the top, ánd the ultra-long studded belt are from the brand. I really like wearing comfortable streetwear like this when the weather is sunny and warm. It's so good for a day in the park, or something like that. The parks are overcrowded in summer, but happily we could find a more quiet place to take some pics.

PS I just discoverd you can still join the giveaway on their Facebook page. You're able to win for you ánd for your ten closest friends. Good luck, I hope you're lucky.

Living in a fairy tale

If you're following my at Twitter, you might have seen I was totally freaked out because of the sale in the fabric store. I bought - how to say this in a proper way - a lot and you'll see the results in a while. This was my today's outfit. I really like the fact the floral printed dress is light blue. I think that color is perfect for spring (and summer). It's so fresh and girly. I styled it with my jeans blouse and a white cardigan. I prefer ankle booties instead of pumps at the moment, but I think pumps looks fabulous with bare legs! I also like the place where the pictures were taken. It gives me a sort of welcome to Wonderland feeling.

Be casual

A day off, a shining sun, a couple of deadlines for uni. It's a day to wear comfortable and casual clothing. It's probably a bit different style that you expect from me, but though I hope you like it. I'm completely dressed in Outfitters Nation. Furthermore, I'm pretty excited about a new purchase I did last Monday. Keep an eye on my blog tomorrow, if you're curious about it.

On top of the world

If you see the rain and feel the cold in Holland today, you can't imagine these pictures were taken yesterday. But it's true. I'm wearing Outfitters Nation ripped jeans. I didn't use to wear jeans often, but since I got in touch with this brand, I love them! I think these ripped ones are totally stunning. And the color is also perfect for sunny days. Of course you can run to the shops and buy a pair if you want to experience what I experience when I'm wearing these jeans. However, what's another possibility: If you like their facebook page, you're able to win some great stuff - like a year of free jeans or something like that - from time to time. And they keep you informed about the news about the brand and, very important, the discounts!

I started a couple of do it yourself projects recently, and this clutch is the result of one of them. I'm crazy about simple, oversized leather clutches at the moment. And acting like a wanabe designer is one of my favorite pursuits the last time. I ensure you  you'll see a lot more do it yourself stuff in the future.

Tattoos, rituals and dances

Even though the day started raining, the day ended with a shining sun in the sky. I went to the museum to see a new exposition about the Maori tribe with my mother. I'm really fascionated with this tribe. The tattoos, the rituals, the dance (especially the dances and the songs, woaaah those rocks). We took a few pictures inside the museum - which I'll show you another time - but I preferred the shots we took outside. I'm wearing the bag I showed you in the previous post. And what was in it? Among others there was this great blouse! If I'm honest to you, I've never wore a blouse before (yes, I'm serious), but I really like this one. I've got a million ways to style it in mind, so you'll definitely see it again. I've to hurry myself for an appointment in a few minutes, so I gotta go now. I hope you'll entertain yourselves with the outfitpictures and I'd recommend the facebook page of Outfitters Nation. It's really worth liking it.
