Like what Tim Blanks of Men.Style.com said, the personality of Vuitton's menswear has taken shape somewhere between traditional luxury and a technological take on same.

Here are the some extract of LV Fall/Winter 2009 Collection from Paris Fashion Week.

Milan Fashion Week: Raf Simons Fall 2009

As I promised in my earlier post, here is another top selection from Milan Fashion Week, Raf Simons.

Simons brilliantly played off the notion by manipulating unlikely face-offs between the conventional and the not-so: a camel coat had gray flannel lapels, a gray flannel jacket had camel sleeves. A knit shrug was laid over a suit. The remnants of a techno-fabric jacket made another.

But the sharpest juxtapositions were neoprene like shrugs in hot pink or bright blue hauled over flannel or pinstripes to create the impression of an alien other.

Milan Fashion Week: Lanvin Men Collection Fall 2009

Milan was once again the center of one of the most important fashion events in the world: Milan fashion week, from January the 17th till January the 20th, which this year was concentrated into just four days.

On the occasion of this edition of Milan fashion week, many giant fashion houses had the opportunity to show their men’s autumn-winter 2009/2010 collections.

Lanvin's fall collection spoke for itself - and it was stunning. "We wanted to deliver an optimistic message, give people something real and find the real solutions to their clothes, change things and propose newness," said Lucas Ossendrijver, Lanvin's men's wear designer. And how. The collection was awash with striking new silhouettes, including a voluminous pleated trouser worn with a soft jersey jacket, reflecting the personal style of Lanvin's creative director Alber Elbaz.

In the next few articles, I will shared some of my top picked men fashion designers collection, which presented the image of classic, elegant man, and business style.

We're on the hunt for talent to take with us to London Fashion Week...to THE menswear fashion show MAN on 25th February 2009 to be precise! Read on to be in with a chance of joining us...

Weekly Selection: Levi's 501 Fashion Show

I have been Browsing YouTube today, and came across this fabulous fashion show organized by Levi's in Philippines, and thought of sharing this fashion show with you guys here.

Levi's 501 is always my top pick, how about you?

Man Fashion: Burberry Spring 2009 Men's Collection

Christopher Bailey makes such perfect sense of his work for Burberry that all anyone could ever wish for would be his voice in your ear while you watch his shows. For his latest collection, he imagined the late artist/filmmaker Derek Jarman in his garden at Dungeness, a hardscrabble stretch of English seaside perched next to a nuclear reactor.

What's more, pieces from this men’s Burberry Prorsum Spring Summer 2009 pre-collection are available on the Burberry UK/Europe on-line store since early December 2008. Some of the key pre-collection outerwear pieces for every occasion such as trench coats in gabardine, cotton satin and jacquard for men are all available on-line.

Man Fashion: SPFW 08

Looking for Beachwear Fashion? Look no way than Brazilian Fashion – São Paulo Fashion Week is even bigger with the brands that show beachwear fashion.

This season, Movimento, Cia Matítima, Blue Man, Agua de Coco and Paola Robba for Poko Pano are at the forefront of beachwear, which also has Rosa Chá (Amir Slama) presenting its first men’s collection ever.

The event that just over at the Bienal Pavilion, in Ibirapuera Park, São Paulo.

New members have migrated to São Paulo Fashion Week, like Reserva and Blue Man from Rio.

Besides newcomer Maria Garcia (branch of Huis Clos) and the comebacks Isabela Capeto, OESTUDIO, Vide Bula, Pedro Lourenço, Anabela Baldaque and Miguel Vieira, Colcci have also put on a fashion show at SPFW.

Man Fashion Show: Gucci SS 09 Review

Typical summer shades seemed far from the minds of numerous designers at the beginning of fashion week.

That was, of course, until Frida Giannini injected some unbridled life into the proceedings.

At Gucci, bold stripes and elaborate florals were found on ultra-slim pants and variegated styles of that true Gucci-jacket which now seems ubiquitous.

Giannini aimed to convey 'youth and luxury' – which also meant soundtracking the show with indie-favorite 'Time to Pretend' by MGMT.

Not only is Giannini reminding us of the archetypal Gucci aesthetic, she is also making clear her distinct lack of vision for the development of this line.

Michael Bastian Spring 2008 Collection

I think if you are Michael Bastian's fan, you should not missed his recent released of Spring 2008 collection. Michael Bastian's 300-piece collection was so densely laden with personal references that you felt a twinge of regret. Bastian claimed that his new gig as menswear designer for Bill Blass has liberated him to get more personal with his own line. So do you agree with his views?
Grey color is one of his main theme, which matched perfectly with red and white.
Just two casual wear of his 300 pieces collection, focus on red, gray and black color
Some of Michael Bastian's Bermuda collection
Two of his smart casual wear, one of striking stripe (black and white) and simple light gray suits.

Last but not least, if you like to know what are his top 10 essential, that he shared with Men.style.com back in last year then, She Know Best has a very interesting write up.

Man Fashion: Valentino 2008 Spring/Summer Collection

For S/S 08 Valentino gives us fine tailoring with a relaxed vibe.

Tailored outfits gave a variety of work and leisure looks.

Double-breasted suits were paired with waistcoats and summer weight sweaters. The tailored looks were complete with pocket ties and neck scarves. The formality was tempered by models walking the runway without socks baring the ease and relaxation in the collection.

A range of tailored looks will effortlessly take a man from the office to the yatch and from day to evening.

A summer palette of whites, blues and pinks gave a fresh, crisp feel. The relaxed vibe was further enhanced as the runway turned into a cocktail party at the end of presentation.

Man Fashion: Lacoste 2008 Spring Collection

To mark Lacoste's 75th, creative director Christophe Lemaire took the path of least resistance, back to the label's Biarritz roots. People in that part of France are fond of an old, tennis-like ball game called Basque pelote. really have what it takes to update a classic. He opened the show with white blazers trimmed with red and black, especially the first all-white looks had an appropriately vintage feel, worn with Basque-red cummerbunds and espadrilles to underline the regional story.

Lacoste still means tennis, especially when the company's box at the U.S. Open was a fashion hot spot, but Christophe Lemaire has managed to extend the association with intimations of other leisurely pursuits. Lemaire can at least make his audience think summery thoughts.

Man Fashion: Patrik Erell Men Fall 2008 Collection

If you are looking for man sporty elegance style, then you are not require to look for alternative, Patrik Ervell has released his latest sporty fashion collection in NY fashion week recently.

Shawl collared one button jackets were layered over knits and button ups and paired with refined trousers that looked as comfortable as they did smooth. Other trousers had double pleats that looked refreshing instead of frumpy making a compelling argument for the overlaps of fabric.

Hoodies added a touch of functionality and sportiness to the collection as high collars overlapped giving the appearance of a double breasted neck. Meanwhile pull-over knit sweaters had double breasted shawl collars, which looked great alone or layered under a sportscoat.

Charcoals, beige and grey were the basis of a palette that came to life as gold made a significant appearance towards the end in the form of foil metallics and knits.
