Escaped from prison

Probably a lot people thought I was escaped from prison, but I totally love this kind of silly outfit. I think the vertical stripes on the tights and the horizontal stripes on the top I wore underneath the crochet sweater, are a nice combination together. I added the colorful bracelets to the look because one I totally love them, and two they gave the look the pop of color that was missing. The sunglasses are very appropriate to this outfit, if you ask me. I'm glad I chose these instead of my so called oversized diva sunglasses this time. What's your opinion?

The statue of liberty

It's the last day of the week and we've got amazing days full of sunshine in Holland this weekend. Perfect weather for mother's day. Hope you had a great day too! I told you about my DIY projects, and this skirt is a result of one of them. I made the oversized leather clutch before, but this time I had to try something new. I'm fond of asymmetric clothing at the moment, so what supposed to be a sheer maxi skirt, became a sheer asymmetric skirt. I think it's best of both  worlds: on the one hand you've got a lovely mini skirt - perfectly for summer - and on the other hand you've got a sophisticated and stylish maxi skirt. And the best thing is, in my opinion, it's transparent! I've wanted a skirt like this for a looong time now, so I'm happy I have one!

Innocent soul

The weather causes confusion at the moment. On the one day you're able to wear graceful see-through maxi skirts and tops, but on the other day you wake up at 6 am because you're freezing your ass off (a bit of a banal expression of it, but I think you get it) and have to wear layers to stay warm. But despite this, you don't hear me complain. I'm so glad it isn't raining for kind of a long period right now. I hope the drought will last a long time! Please keep your fingers crossed for this.

The female Indiana Jones

Do you know the Indiana Jones movies? I watched them all a while ago with my daddy and when we were shooting these pictures I immediately felt myself the female version of Indy, haha. Of course I'm not the adventurer with dusty old hiking boots and a polluted hat, but I think this outfit would be great to discover treasures in the most amazing places in the world. The possibility to do something like that is thanks to the sandals I'm wearing. They are from Romwe and I have to say they are pretty amazing. They suit with so many outfits and they are really comfortable. I made the leopard printed dress and the leather clutch myself. What do you think?

Living the jetset life

Every day is a special one, but when the sun is shining everything seems more beautiful. My mood can't be bad on such days. This outfit isn't my today's outfit, that one I'll show you guys later. I wore a floralprinted strapless dress I bought last year, before I started blogging. I don't know if there are people among you who are following me since the beginning of my blog, but when you are, you might have seen this dress in one of the first posts. Wearing it again has therefore a sort of special value, haha.

On top of the world

If you see the rain and feel the cold in Holland today, you can't imagine these pictures were taken yesterday. But it's true. I'm wearing Outfitters Nation ripped jeans. I didn't use to wear jeans often, but since I got in touch with this brand, I love them! I think these ripped ones are totally stunning. And the color is also perfect for sunny days. Of course you can run to the shops and buy a pair if you want to experience what I experience when I'm wearing these jeans. However, what's another possibility: If you like their facebook page, you're able to win some great stuff - like a year of free jeans or something like that - from time to time. And they keep you informed about the news about the brand and, very important, the discounts!

I started a couple of do it yourself projects recently, and this clutch is the result of one of them. I'm crazy about simple, oversized leather clutches at the moment. And acting like a wanabe designer is one of my favorite pursuits the last time. I ensure you  you'll see a lot more do it yourself stuff in the future.
