To the max

Inevitable, that's characteristic of the maxi-trend. I translated the trend into sheer maxi skirts, but I've never worn a opaque maxi dress before. Yesterday it was the first time I did, because I like to experience as many different styles and trends. I still prefer sheer maxis above maxis like this one for me, but though I want to share the pictures with you.

Dotted tights and ruffles

A significant moment: I took my new shoes outside for the first time. I wore them with dotted tights, because the weather still din't allow me to wander bare-legged through the streets. I chose to wear a ruffled sweater above one of my favorite dresses. And luckily, the color of my lovely leather bag is exactly the same as the color of the sweater. The jewelry I added to this outfit are a big, statement RegalRose cuff and a snake-bracelet that's wrapped around my wrist. Is the latter the reason my hand looks like a claw in the last full-body shot? Don't focus too much on it, it looks very silly when you're staring at it haha.

The desert girl

I was desperately looking for a cute scarf to use as a headband, but I passed on the fact that I already own one! I created a turban of it, and I hope you will like it. I tried to style a sort of "chic desert-girl" look through the combination of colors and items. The asymmetrical dress is still one of my favorites, and the bag.. I think I've expressed my love for it too much on my blog, haha. The sandals are new favorites. They are from Zalando, and I totally love the high-quality leather they are made of. Do you know Zalando? They sell among a lot other brands Jeffrey Campbell and Friis & Company (without shipping costs). They have amazing shoes and other stuff. I even bought a great shirt to my daddy because of father's day there. But to come back to my sandals. They definitely completed te look, in my opinion. The color of the bracelets clashes with eachother and with the rest of the outfit, but I think that gives a fun vibe to the ensemble!

PS there are still a few hours left to join the Giveaway. I'll reveal the winner on Twitter tomorrow morning.

Shoes - Zalando, Dress - Siobhan McKenzie

Translation:

I'm living in my cardigan

Here's the promised outfit. Actually, this huuuuge cardigan is my ultimate winter-favorite, but I wanted to challenge myself by styling it with summer items too. I wore it with a white shirt with some floral embroidery on it and my beige peep toe wedges. To make the outfit more special, I added some subtle colors to it through wearing neon orange shorts and a short pink bra-top beneath it (even though the effect isn't very clear on the pictures). I bought the grey leather bag two years ago. It was the same color as my favorite leather jacket at that moment, and me and my bag were inseperable. But looking back at the time between purchase of the bag and the present, I'm definitely able to conclude that this bag is one of my most worn and most beloved purchases. We're still inseperable and I can't imagine to live without it, even though this probably sounds too dramatic. Excuse me for that, haha.

Until the world ends

I told you about my obsession for sheer clothing before, so this made by myself skirt isn't the most surprisingly addition to my wardrobe. I got the inspiration for this look by the sparkling one shoulder bodycon dress of Siobhan McKenzie. As you've probably seen here and here, the clothing of this upcoming designer is totally fabulous. I paired the outfit with my new "Mickey Mouse" sunglasses and some silver and black accessoiries. I didn't use an overdose of jewelry - like you probably expected after seeing my previous post - because I think the outfit speaks for itself.
