Camping tuxedo

I can't describe how happy I felt when I found these shorts. It was love at first sight. Besides skirts and dresses, shorts are the ultimate favorites at the moment. So shorts in a fabulous color like neon orange? Hellllll yeaaah! I wore this outfit last Sunday and I think I call it 'camping tuxedo', even this is probably a really bad translation from the Dutch word. Nevertheless, the outfit is perfect for a day at the campsite, or something like that. It's nothing haute couture or high-fashion, it's just a mixture of simple and comfortable items.

So you wanna see colors..

I begin to recognize a pattern in my Friday's outfit choice. Everytime it's sort of a I grab the items that came first in mind, because I don't have time to think longer about them situation. But sometimes that's a good thing, because creations that I otherwise would never have imagined, arise. I think this outfit is in the category color blocking. A few years ago, I'd never have thought to wear pink and orange together. However, I think it looks great. Love the cheerful 'vibe' it has. It makes me happy.

The pantomimist on a grey day

I think the most of us are waiting for the spring to come. I felt snowflakes, rain and temperature below zero last week, but when I look outside at the moment I see sun. I see people walking their dogs on the path behind my house, I hear birds twittering and I know - okay, I hope - the spring is on it's way to the Netherlands! The pics were taken when the weather wasn't sunny yet and I was very cold, but though I hope you like the outfit. This is the first look I created with the amazing striped tights from Romwe, but there will be more looks with them in the upcoming weeks. I'm looking forward to create a black-and-white outfit with them. This will definitely ensure that I look like a pantomimist, but I'm sure I'll like that fact.

Playing on the timber

Today I'm wearing the kind of colors I love most for winter. I thought this environment was perfectly matching with the outfit, so even though the ground was a bit muddy I couldn't resist taking pics at this place. The nailpolish I'm wearing is metallic green. I bought it on holiday a couple of years ago, but I've rarely worn it since that moment. When I rediscovered the bottle last week, I fell in love with the color again. I think some people might think this color is terrible, but I think it's cool.

He deserves to know

I don't have the time to post an new outfit today (tomorrow there will be), so just a quick post with three random pictures. In the first picture you see my love for black shoes. The second picture shows the pumps I got for Christmas. I wore them last Wednesday with the scarf, a black blazer and a pair of matching jeans I got as Outfitters Nation Jeans Ambassador. The parfume is definitely one of my favorites. I almost love it too much to use it, haha! In the last picture is a part of my Thuesday's outfit. The fur scarf/cape makes you a lot warmer and as I said in the previous post, the statement necklace gives a simple outfit the finishing touch.

Desires come true

Have you ever been searching for the item you want for weeks, and that it seemed you'd never find the one that fits your desires, but then you suddenly run into it at an unexpected moment? I had it last weekend. I was looking for a black knitted off-shoulder sweater since November and although there are a lot sweaters in stores, I didn't find the perfect one. But when I'm just walked around in a city where I usually never find an item that I adore, I saw this one. I was so happy and I know for sure this will be one of my most wearable items. I've got a million combinations with this sweater in mind, so stay tuned for more knitted sweater outfits! The statement necklace my mother gave me is also one of my new favorite items. I love the way such a necklace make a simple outfit fashionable.
