we've heard the name laila azhara thrown around but we've never really paid attention until now. turns out she's a morocco-born designer whose work is simple but spectacular or as she sees it "practical yet romantic, uninvolved yet constructive, and timeless yet modern". pictured above are some of our favorite pieces from her spring 2009 collection. two pieces in particular stand out for us:
