SLiq Updates: Back :-)

Returning to our precious blog/happy place after an unannounced, unplanned hiatus is always daunting. We're never entirely sure where to begin or what to say. Those who've followed us on Twitter (@xoliquoricexo) will know that this year has required us to pack tonnes into 24 hours like we've never had to before. Between that, near meltdowns (*smiles*) and failing so miserably at juggling it all sometimes, we've had to step aside, breathe, and recuperate. ShopLiquorice will always be here in one form or another and we'd like to say a big, heartfelt thank you to those who missed us in our absence and sent/left messages to that effect.

Please bear with us as we try to juggle it all. Even though there are three of us, we're really hard pressed for time these days, so if anyone would like to intern and assist us in keeping hope alive (lol), kindly send an e-mail to shopliquorice@gmail.com and we'll take it from there. We started this blog because we're fascinated and captivated by Africa's budding - and blooming! - fashion scene and we remain dedicated to showcasing the best and brightest from our darling continent. Dear readers,

First up - a big, BIG thank you for sticking around and reading our humble blog! We really appreciate your comments and kind words :-) Our blog is nowhere near as awesome as we know it can be, so please bear with us as we find the time, team, and resources to create a bigger and better blog that showcases the best and brightest out-of-Africa fashion brands. Here are some quick updates for you:

- We're on Twitter! We've been on for a few weeks now, trying to get the hang of it...and so far, so good! Please follow us to read our random outbursts and to read more fabulous out-of-Africa content! Feel free to say hi whenever!

- We've created a separate page for events, especially events going on in Lagos, Nigeria. Please stay tuned to that page as we'll update it as often as we find events worth listing. The link to our events page can also be found at the top left corner of our blog [under our header].

- More new pages and changes are coming, so don't be too startled if you see them popping up all over the place!

SLiq Updates: happy new year!

hello and happy new year *shy face* + :-)

apologies are in order for disappearing for a week. as earlier expressed way back in july, we all have quite a bit going on and juggling all our commitments has been rather daunting. but where there's a will, there's a way! we're fully committed to our blog and we apologize for the times we've been a little quiet.

that said, we have an unbelievable amount of new and old discoveries to share with you. so sit back, relax, and enjoy :-) we haven't made any concrete resolutions where our blog is concerned but, without giving too much away, we fully intend on making the SLiq experience as exciting as we possibly can for you this year. ooooh, it's going to be G-O-O-D :-)

oh, while we're still on house-keeping stuff, HUGE HUGE HUGE apologies to our wonderful readers who left comments while we were away. unfortunately, we lost a few of them due to a little mishap on blogger :-( so if you left a comment and it hasn't showed up on the blog, we're truly sorry...it has poofed far beyond our reach :-(
